Market Scan

There have been many requests to include a scanning tool in our apps. Although with current ios technology it is not feasible to scan large numbers of stocks in real time, we are working on implementing a solution.

The other issue is that we don't believe in indiscriminate scanning. There are dozens of scanning tools on the web which produce thousands of stocks each day. Therefore, picking the right one becomes a daunting task. We rather prefer targeted scanning, which takes into account current market conditions. During the next few weeks we plan on introducing several scans, some of which will later feature permanently in our scanning engine.

Today we start with a very short list of stocks. These are the 3 stocks, among the Russel 1000, which showed signs of strength, backed up by volume, with the potential of starting a new upswing (there are several strong Russel 1000 stocks which are already in an upswing and, therefore, are not included in the scan):
